Join us for a session of Yin yoga and Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra & Sound Meditation for deep relaxation.
We warmly invite you to take time to let go stress and unwind with a wonderfully relaxing and blissful, 90 minute Yin Yoga to Restorative Yoga Sunday evening with Jackie King. Join us at our new cosy and relaxing venue for an evening of relaxation, yummy cakes and herbal teas.
For 60 minutes Jackie will take you slowly through a deep Yin Yoga practice to restore Qi (chi) energy flow throughout the body, then transitioning into a relaxing Restorative Yoga practice which unwinds deep tensions helping you slowly let go of stress.
She will then guide you through a 30 minute Yoga Nidra practice or a guided meditation —known as yogic sleep—a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that induces total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. finishing with yummy cakes and herbal teas.
We will open and close the evening with pranyama breath work
Who is it for?
Yin and Restorative yoga is suitable for ‘every body,’ whether you are new to yoga or a regular yoga practitioner. Just bring yourself, warm stretching clothes and socks, and if preferred your favourite warm blanket although all props are provided by the studio. The postures practiced in these styles of yoga are passive and designed to stimulate the meridian energy pathways and parasympathetic nervous system, inducing a state of mind, body and spirit harmony and balance.
Complete beginners welcome.
This is suitable for all levels, including if you’ve never tried Yoga. Have no expectations of yourself- just stretch & breathe.
